2.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the THE IFE ACADEMY website, downloading or using the application, registering for an account, purchasing a subscription or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2.2 About THE IFE ACADEMY
THE IFE ACADEMY is an independent coaching and educational platform providing online coaching for the Level 3 Diploma offered by The Institution of Fire Engineers (UK). It is not The Institution of Fire Engineers (UK), is not the awarding body, and does not issue the IFE qualification. Students must complete all official registration, examination and qualification requirements specified by the awarding body.
2.3 Founder and Coaching Expert
Founder & Director: Mr. Vipin Kumar. IFE Coaching Expert: Mr. Sudhir Navet. Mr. Sudhir Navet provides the coaching and teaching contribution free of cost as an educational initiative. Coaching or subscription fees paid through THE IFE ACADEMY are received by Mr. Vipin Kumar / THE IFE ACADEMY.
2.4 Courses
The coaching programme includes Fire Engineering Science, Fire Safety, Aviation Fire Operations, and Leadership and Management in Fire and Rescue. Exact availability of individual subjects, course content and pricing may vary.
2.5 Subject-Wise and Combined Pricing
The four subjects are available with separate fees. Students may purchase individual subjects separately. THE IFE ACADEMY may also offer a discounted price when multiple or all four subjects are purchased together. Prices may vary by subject, number of subjects, country, currency, taxes and promotional/package pricing. The price displayed at the time of purchase applies to that transaction.
2.6 Subscription Period
Each purchased subject or package provides a subscription period of two years, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. The subscription begins after successful payment and activation.
2.7 Immediate Digital Access
After successful payment and confirmation, access to the purchased coaching programme is intended to be provided immediately through the applicable digital platform, subject to technical availability.
2.8 Subscription Expiry
Access automatically expires when the applicable two-year subscription period ends. Students may optionally renew by purchasing the applicable renewal plan. Renewal is not automatic unless a separate legally compliant auto-renewal mechanism is expressly offered and accepted.
2.9 Single-Device Access
One subscription is intended for one registered student on one authorized device and must not be shared. Technical measures may be used to restrict unauthorized multi-device access or account sharing. Misuse may result in suspension or termination.
2.10 Account Security
Users are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining account security, protecting OTPs/passwords or other credentials, not sharing access, and immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access. THE IFE ACADEMY is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from a user's failure to protect credentials.
2.11 Course Content
Course content may include video lectures, educational material, PDFs, study resources, assessments, explanations and other digital learning resources. Content may be updated, modified, replaced or improved from time to time.
2.12 Video Downloads
Certain course videos may be made available for offline viewing within THE IFE ACADEMY application. Videos cannot be downloaded to the device's normal photo/gallery or video folder through the application. Offline access remains subject to a valid subscription and technical functionality.
2.13 PDF Downloads
Some PDF resources may be downloadable. Only PDFs specifically marked or enabled as downloadable may be downloaded. Other educational resources may be available for viewing without download functionality.
2.14 Content Protection
THE IFE ACADEMY may use DRM, encryption, technical restrictions, access controls, watermarking or other reasonable security measures to protect course content from unauthorized copying, recording, downloading or redistribution. Users must not attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with these protections.
2.15 Intellectual Property
All course videos, PDFs, notes, graphics, educational materials, assessments, designs, written content and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unless expressly permitted in writing, students must not copy, reproduce, record, redistribute, upload, share, resell, publish publicly, use commercially, share account access or circumvent technical protections. Unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination and may lead to legal action where appropriate.
2.16 Examination Disclaimer
THE IFE ACADEMY provides independent coaching and examination preparation. Enrollment does not guarantee that a student will pass an IFE examination. Results depend on individual preparation, examination performance and the official assessment process of the awarding body.
2.17 Student Responsibilities
Students must provide accurate information, use their own account, keep login credentials confidential, not share subscriptions or redistribute content, not bypass security measures, not engage in cheating or examination misconduct, not distribute unauthorized examination materials, not harass or abuse instructors/staff/other students, not interfere with the application or website, and comply with applicable laws.
2.18 Suspension or Termination
THE IFE ACADEMY may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable evidence of account sharing, unauthorized distribution of course content, fraudulent transactions, abuse of the platform, attempts to circumvent security measures, serious violation of these Terms, or illegal activity. Serious violations may affect refund entitlement.
2.19 Payments
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, which may include Razorpay or another provider selected by the business. Final payment methods and available currencies may vary according to country and payment provider.
2.20 Taxes and Charges
Applicable taxes, payment processing charges or other charges, where required, may be included in or added to the displayed price. The final amount payable will be displayed before the transaction is completed.
2.21 Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy published on the website. By purchasing a course, the student acknowledges that refund eligibility is determined according to that policy.
2.22 Third-Party Platforms
THE IFE ACADEMY services may be accessed through Google Play, Apple App Store or other authorized digital platforms. Use of these platforms is also subject to their applicable terms, policies and rules, including platform-specific purchasing or refund rules.
2.23 Changes to Services
THE IFE ACADEMY may update, improve, modify or discontinue certain features, content or services from time to time. Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain the core educational service during a valid subscription period.
2.24 Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted according to laws applicable in India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Haryana, India.
2.25 Changes to Terms
THE IFE ACADEMY may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
